CMT Music Awards Recap

Carrie Underwood won Video of the Year for "Hallelujah," her collaboration with John Legend, at last night's (6/9) CMT Music Awards, becoming the most-awarded artist in show history with 23 trophies. Co-hosts Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini walked away winners, with the former's "Worship You" winning Male Video and "Famous Friends" with Chris Young taking home Collaborative Video, and the latter's 2020 CMTMA performance with Halsey on “The Other Girl" being named Performance of the Year. Mickey Guyton, Underwood, Darius Rucker, Jennifer Nettles, Rhiannon Giddens and Rissi Palmer honored Linda Martell with the CMT Equal Play award. Additional winners included: Little Big Town, Duo/Group Video; Gabby Barrett, Female Video; Taylor Swift, Best Family Feature; and Dylan Scott, Breakthrough Video.
