Chronicle: Galentine

Singer/songwriter Bryan Wayne Galentine, known professionally as Bryan Wayne, passed away yesterday (10/22) from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) after a more than three-year battle. Best known as a songwriter, Galentine penned the Tommy Shane Steiner Top 5 debut single, “What If She’s An Angel,” as well as cuts for Chris Cagle, Big & Rich, Clay Walker and Rodney Carrington. Following his diagnosis, Galentine recorded and released his own debut album, While You Wait, and became an outspoken advocate for ALS research. One year ago today (10/23/19), Galentine shared a portion of his story with SiriusXM The Highway’s Storme Warren here. Arrangements are pending.
