Lon Helton is the four-time CMA Award-winning and two-time ACM Award-winning host of WestwoodOne's CMT's Country Countdown USA. Prior to R&R, his radio career included air talent and programming stops in Denver, Chicago and Los Angeles. Helton is a Board member for the Country Music Association, and has served as the CMA's President and Chairman. He is also a Board member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and in 2006 was inducted into the Country DJ Hall of Fame.
