» Lady...Hey! CMA offered a corrected press release today, noting that Capitol's Lady Antebellum was omitted from the list of performers on ABC-TV's CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock in yesterday's version. The special airs Sept. 8 at 9pm ET.

» Life Note: Our thoughts and prayers are with songwriter Hank Cochran ("I Fall To Pieces," "Ocean Front Property") who is recovering from recent surgery to remove cancerous tumors from his pancreas and lymph node.

Also in our thoughts is KOUL/Corpus Christi OM/PD Clayton Allen, who is recovering from injuries sustained while attempting to save a drowning dog last night. He and Marketing Dir. Marc Mujica where kayaking in Corpus Christi Bay when Mujica spotted the dog struggling to make it to shore. As it started going under Allen grabbed for its collar, causing the dog to bite into his wrist. After making it to the nearest dock and calling 911, a resident told the ambulance technician, "The guy covered in blood [Allen] seemed like he was okay, but the little guy [Mujica] didn't look like he was going to make it." The dog wasn't found, leaving Allen to undergo an extensive series of rabies shots.
