NSAI 2022 Country Winners

Jacob Davis, Jordan Davis, Josh Jenkins and Matt Jenkins were awarded Song of the Year for “Buy Dirt” and Ashley Gorley was named Songwriter of the Year and Decade during last night's (9/20) 5th Annual Nashville Songwriter Awards at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Additional honorees included Garth Brooks (Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement Award), Taylor Swift (Songwriter-Artist of the Decade) and Matthew West (Songwriter-Artist of the Year).

Previously announced recipient Jon Platt was presented with the President's Keystone Award and celebrated with a performance of "Rich Man" by Little Big Town. Luke Combs sang "Beaches Of Cheyenne" to honor Brooks, and songwriters Pat Alger, Kent Blazy and Tony Arata performed a medley of his hits concluding with "The Dance." The final surprise of the night was a performance of "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" by Swift.
