Retired Saga WSIG/Harrisonburg, VA morning personality Dusty Rhodes (born Bob Long), passed away May 20 following a prolonged illness. He was 74. Rhodes retired from WSIG in January due to his health and previously spent more than two decades at crosstown iHeartMedia WKCY helming mornings before his first retirement in 2011 (CAT 12/2/11). He had worked in local radio since 1966. WSIG is paying tribute to Rhodes via its website and asking listeners to share memories of Rhodes via the WSIG Dusty Rhodes Love Line. The station also aired a special tribute segment on-air this morning (5/22).
