Kingsley Welcomes Female Guest Hosts

Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40 has partnered with the 53rd CMA Awards to spotlight legacy female voices as guest hosts over the next several weeks as Kingsley battles bladder cancer (see Life Note below). Beginning this weekend and through Nov. 30-Dec. 1, Trisha Yearwood, Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman and Karen Fairchild, Martina McBride and others will take a turn hosting, adding their own music and spotlighting CMA Female Vocalist nominees and winners during the show.

"The artists we have secured for this very special partnership are among my favorite of all-time, and being able to provide this platform to reinforce how important female voices are to Country radio and country music in general is an honor," Kingsley says. "Knowing that these amazing female voices will be pinch-hitting for me as I focus on cancer treatment brings me such peace of mind and gratitude."
