Watts And Pigue Join The AMG

Tennessean Country Music/Celebrity Reporter Cindy Watts and Varnell Enterprises' Leigh Ann Pigue have joined artist management group The AMG as Mgr./Corporate Communications and Mgr./Tour Marketing, respectively. Watts will be the community liaison, handle corporate communications and provide in-house media support, while Pigue takes on tour marketing for the company's roster. "We are so excited and humbled to have these two amazingly talented women by our sides as we continue to grow this business into a new breed of full-service artist management," says Pres./CEO Rob Beckham. Watts – the recipient of the 2015 CMA Media Achievement Award – started her career at Murfreesboro’s Daily News Journal in 2000 and transitioned to the Tennessean in 2007. Pigue spent 20 years at Varnell Enterprises handling tour marketing after spending time at WVLK/Lexington as Dir./Promotions & Marketing. Former WME Nashville Co-Head Beckham and Fitzgerald Hartley Company's Bill Simmons formed The AMG last year (CAT 5/9/2019). They manage Brad Paisley, Chris Young and Payton Smith.
