Combined CBS Radio/Entercom After Divestures Revealed

CBS Radio KNCI/Sacramento is one of 11 stations the company will divest in four cities as a part of the merger with Entercom. Entercom plans to sell five stations. "Today, Entercom and CBS Radio have taken another important step in finalizing the merger of our two companies," says CEO Andre Fernandez. "Our day-to-day operations will not change. We all remain CBS Radio employees until the merger fully closes, which we expect to happen later this year." Here's what the combined clusters will look like after the merger in the affected markets:

  • Seattle: KKWF, KMPS, Rock KISW, Rhythmic KHTP and Alternative KDND.
  • Boston: Top 40 WODS, Rock WAAF, Hot AC WBMX and Sports WEEI.
  • San Francisco: Talk KCBS and simulcast KFRCS, Sports KGMZ, Rhythmic AC KRBQ, Hot AC KLLC and Alternative KITS.
  • Sacramento: Classic Rock KSEG, Rock KRXQ, Rhythmic KSFM, Top 40 KUDL, Alternative KRDO, and Sports KIFM.

Stations to be spun off are CBS Radio's Talk WBZ-AM, Sports WBZ-FM, Classic Rock WZLX with Entercom's Talk WRKO and Urban AC WKAF in Boston; CBS Radio's Top 40 KMVQ with Entercom's AC KOIT, Urban AC KBLX and Classic Rock KUFX in San Francisco; CBS Radio's Classic Hits KJAQ, Classic Rock WZOK and Sports KFNQ in Seattle; and CBS Radio's KNCI, AC KYMX, Hot AC KZZO and Sports KHTK in Sacramento.
