Entercom/CBS Radio Merger Executive Action

In advance of its merger with CBS RadioEntercom Pres./CEO David Field outlined the new combined corporate leadership team in an internal memo today (7/10). The list from Entercom is CFO Rich Schmaeling, COO Weezie Kramer, Pres./Programming Pat Paxton, Pres./Region & Sales Operations Michael Doyle, SVP/General Counsel Andrew Sutor, CRO Bob Philips, CMO Ruth Gaviria and Pres./Sports Mike Dee. Making the transition from CBS Radio will be EVP/Digital JD Crowley and EVP/Programming Chris Oliviero. Paxton will oversee music brands and Oliviero will handle News/Talk/Sports brands. "In making this announcement, I also want to add a special word of recognition to Scott Herman, who has done a terrific job over so many years in various leadership roles at CBS, culminating in his current position as Chief Operating Officer," says Field. "While we are disappointed that Scott will be moving on to pursue other personal and professional endeavors, we greatly respect his outstanding leadership contributions to the organization. We wish him nothing but the best in the future." The merger is expected to close by the end of this year.
